reminiscence...

i realised how much i missed hall life when i went back to support the guys and girls softball game followed by a trip back to the new hall. perhaps the hectic work life has made me appreciate the goodness of hall life.

had heard so much about the structure and interior of the hall and how it would affect hall life in the negative way. but after meeting up wif bezoomny and seoks prior to the game and hearing wat they felt for the new place, i was kinda excited about stepping into it.

as bezoomy drove in, the place reminded me of a school with 8 storeys full of airconditioned classrooms as well as a carpark wif enuff space for a campfire. though the rooms are small, but it has its goodness. small also mean cosiness. and if u decorate it with the right accessories, the place can indeed look wonderful as i have witnessed for myself.

saw the freshies gathered in seok junior's room playing. sigh..how i miss my mahjong cum da di or bridge sessions! memories of drinking sessions held in the lounge and wee hours chit chats and gossips surfaced in my head. alright, mayb i exaggerated. but i really do miss hall life. participating in hall events, jcrc and comm work got me some chums which i can always rely on in trouble times or loneliness. hahaha..

the more we talked about hall life over dinner, the more i feel liek studying again. lucky for those who are now in nie and still can be back in hall.

guess the grass is always on he greener side. when u are studying, u wish u could get the hell out of there and make some bucks out in the working world. but when u are sloughing out in the real world, u regretted graduating too soon. this is life. u can never be satisfied. so we should learn to appreciate all that we have now as well as what we r doing now. coz one day, we'll be thankful that we have wonderful memories to reminisce about.

boo woo...i'm suffering the withdrawal symptoms of hall life..even though i'm Jem-ming now...and it's mon tom!! double boo! monday blues...looking forward to fri...
