deformed!

so i'm allergic to this medicine called defenac which is found in aspirin. so the cause of my allergy is actually the medicine which i took from shihui. that was medicine for stomach pain not flu and it contains defenac. sighz...ask for a jab to ease the swell and the nurse injected it on my buttocks coz the needle was too thick and it would hurt my arm. feeling lousy now..coz is ashamed of my hideous face..wore my oakleys everywhere i go yesterday..

will be going to sheares hall for friendly tom..dun feel good about it. perhaps coz of my face and haven't been training for 2 weeks..think my fitness level is damn low now...terrible...

and still have FYP!!! arrghh!!! dread it!!

allergy!

boy! i admired myself...coz i'm actually typing this blog now when both my eyes are swollen. due to allery i think..but i;m not sure its the flu and panadol which i took or the chemical reaction caused by the medicine and the milk which i drank.

wanted to call zhonghui to fetch me to a 24 hour clonic but he is not online. wanted to ask david too but he is on away mode. then i have this thought that maybe the swell will go away by morning..silly? but i hope it will come true so tom i still can go and guve tuition.don't want to miss it since only left 2 more days. then was thinking..tom morning then i go see doc myself at the medical centre.

surprisingly, this time round i did not cry or panic like the first time. probably becoz i know wat's happening. have this urge to call keong but i dun wnat to make him worried and he's too far to do anything. so i decided to depend on myself. hopefully tom morning at 8 my eyes will look better.

i can hardly see...imagine: my eyes are small enuff..now, it's almost like 2 slits!! i can laugh..but the worrying thing in my mind now is tom's tuition. am i hard up for money? maybe i am...

bless me! i really hope by 8am, my face will look normal or at least, not hideous to ppl.

singapore standard chartered MARATHON!!

that is me and my darling at the FINISHING LINE of the singapore standard chartered marathon!! keong did extremely well this year, he clocked a timing of 4hours and 30 mins..well done!! so much better than last yr's 5 hours +. but i was late. when he called me at 11am, i was still at home, about to leave the house. wanted to get a lift from jeanette but they planned to go at 11plus which was kinda too late. so i decided to leave at 11..but i didn't manage to cathc keong at the fininshing line! i was so disappointed when he called me at 11am. nevertheless, i still rushed down and along the way, i bought his fave bagel from cedele and my fave sticky walnut muffin!! haha..to atone for my sin of arriving late.

he introduced his scouts seniors to me. all of them ran the marathon too except for wayne. felt kinda weird..coz all guys and i'm the only girl. but i think he wanted to intro his frenz to me. i guess its time for me to meet his frenz too, afterall, we ahve been together for 6 years..but i have still yet to see neil. there'll be a chance soon..

when i was watching the race, kinda felit inspired. it happens all the time, at all the races which i went to support him. but i did not have the courage and determination to train and practise for them. jeanette jioed me to run the half marathon next yr...haha...i was thinking of the 10km one actually!! sharon was interested too! anyway, this will be a year later, we shall see how many of us actually remember. but i'm pretty sure next year i will run, juz not sure about the distance though. i can jio kaiping, seok kuan, baoling and shihui to run too!

oh ya, i collected my camera on sat!!! i was SO HAPPY coz they repaired the batt cover and the shutter (image) everything for the cost of $120!! cheap rite? of course..the konica minolta servcie centre told me it will cost at least $120 to repair the batt cover and will take around 2-3 months, and camera workshop only took 2 days to repair and charged me for $120! they attributed the low costs to cheaper camera parts which they were able to get. it certainly made my day and now i will be extra careful when handling my digi cam. and no more lending to people. horray...now my blog will ahve more photos!!

on fri, went to jeanette's bday party. me and keong had a hard time getting her present. city hall area was so packed wif ppl doing xmas shopping and it made the both of us so frustrated. on top of that, i was buying on behalf of 8 people while keong was buying for yiyuan and gariet. actually, i dun mind shopping for present but that day jzu wasnt the day. jzu too much crowd and we have no idea wat to buy. and the both of us, more of keong were complaining how appreciated we felt. especially keong, which i think is true. for his 21st, jeanette, yiyuan, gariet they all didn't get him a present at all. beside presents from me, say heng and gang were the next ppl who remembered and gave him something. neil bought him dinner, their usual style-eat and no gift. well, i guess this is part and parcel of life. we expect ppl to appreciate us but others also expect us to appreciate them. i believe there will be one party who will gain more, and the other lose more. but wat we lose here, we might gain back elsewhere. so no point being so calculative..life gonna be miserable then. but of course, sometimes its good to let off some steam.

VANITY!!

its never too old to take care of our skin. i juz finished cleansing my face, toned it and finally apply moisturizer. realised that my face is in quite a bad condition..so before it gets worse from all the sun and oily food, i better start to take care of it. as the saying goes, there's no ugly woman in the world, there's only lazy woman. well said!

juz had my fyp meeting..its weird how i feel less scared after meeting up wif del and von. think after discussion and emailing to dufey, i kinda feel safer. shows that we have done our work though i need to buck up more. i feel like i'm preparing for another major exam. tom or rather later tonite we r meeting again to decide the structure of our lit review. then we can start writing and hopefully can send him our first draft in the next 2 weeks or less. at least we will have one thing down.

did i mention about my digital camera? sent it for repair..there r more problems then it seem. now, beside the batt cage spolit, the shutter is spoilt. sighz...i;m useless at taking care of things and that was a birthday gift from keong. barely one year...think when i told him last nite, he was disappointed. i think i should get it fixed regardless of the price. because its a gift from him.

wondering wat to get for him wat xmas. crumpler bag or mframe?
well..think i'll get something small for him for his marathon race. something to spur him on...for every race that he takes part in. i realised that i kinda love him more i love myself.
