happy holidays!!

i'm so glad there are 12 days for xmas! hahaha..of all the holidays. i enjoy xmas the most. it's a season of giving and wif giving, u receive too! kinda proud of the presents which i've gotten for family, frenz and loved ones. like the prezzies which i've gotten and there were some surprised one too.

he got me a starbucks thermal flask which will come in really handy during work. sista gave me a nice pair of earrings while auntie bought me a really sweet bracelet. wif the pearl necklace which shar gave me, the gifts actually make a full set of accessories! haha..in time for cny!

bought quite a few name card holders this yr. one for my papa and 2 for my xmas gift exchange wif colleagues. was hoping to receive one for myself too. and now i have it. thanx jean! of course, there's also the funny white pig from kp.

alright, that pretty much sums up for xmas loot! gonna head back to my liverpool newcatle game!

merry xmas!!

HO HO HO!! merry xmas and happy holidays everyone! haha..received an unexpected gift from a fren...and i was still thinking perhaps i have bad karma coz i have been receiving really crappy prezzies during this year's gift exchanges. so wat goes around eventually comes around.

have yet to give him his present. added something extra inside. hope he likes it. he got me something from starbucks. haven't open it out coz i like the packaging. now both our gifts are sitting nicely on the table. how i hope there was a tree...

the first 1 hour of xmas was spent at the hospital. he got into really bad and severe stomach pains. i could see the pain in him coz his eyes were totally red. he told me it's really hurting and i suggested going to NUH since we were around that area. he didn't decline and i knew it's really that PAINFUL. this is the first time i see him in total discomfort and complaining about the pain. even the bad fall in ubin didn't get him to whine that much. we went to raffles hospital after his parents picked us up at NUH. the queue was simply too long and he could wait no more. so we decided to spend a bit more in order to alleviate the pain faster. there was no queue at raffles and almost immediately the doc attende to him. it's now official that he's suffering from severe gastric pain. in fact, it has been hurting him since the past few days. his threshold for pain is really high man..well, at least now we know he has gastric. so in future, if the tummy hurts again, he will know wat to take. was teasing him that he has to give up on coffee for the rest of his life..he doc told him to stop coz it's arousing the gastric juices. so peeps, please dun drink coffee on an empty stomach and dear all, refrain from coffee as much as possible.

alrite, i'm still trying to guess wat kind of stuff he got for me from star bucks. mug? flask? coffee maker? oh crap! good nite...

lucky lucky!!

i was telling my colleagues how unlucky i am coz i have never won any prizes from lucky draws or contests. lo and behold, as i was opening my starhub envelope, thinking that it muz be another bill..i received a very pleasant surprise! i won 2 free movie tickets and combo meals!! hahaha...so thrilled! finally there's a change in luck. i have been smsing for the past 3 months for the starhub Monthly Movie Mania and finally i'm one of the 100 lucky ppl who won it! now i can watch movie during christmas! how exciting..and gorge myself silly wif pop corn and coke. heh!

officially broke

fell asleep while reading lance armstrong. no no..it's not that the book is boring but i was juz drowsy after dinner. and i woke up in time to witness man u's draw wif everton. boo...haha

did some really heavy shopping this weekend. spent a bomb on my hair and i muz say, i kinda like it. this is a good sign. can u imagine after spending all those money and i actually hate it? gawk...then will have to wait months b4 it grow long again. looked so much neater now. and very guai too. not the usual loud hair colour. sigh..i miss those colours..haha

finally found the prezzie which i wanted to get for the leaders' xmas dinner. i'm soooo proud of myself. it's a darn good gift. u girls all gonna praise me. hhaha...

and i bought myself a new pair of kitten heels from mphosis. not that i wanted to. i have no choice. my heels' strap snapped while i was walking to meet my first 3 months classmates. how unlucky can i get. i realised as much as i wanted to save up, i can't. there are juz too many unforeseen and unexpected expenses. and most of them, i pretty much do not have the choice not to get it. first, it was the track shoes. then the heels. wat else next? stained my blouse while having my lunch tom? touchwood! i feared it coming!

tought i would save some penny by using partylycloudy's taka and isetan card. haha..but they happened to be points accumualation cards instead! she felt soo bad that she bought me 2 donuts. hehe..nice.

finally gotten the nike bag which i yearned for. not the original one which i wanted. but pretty much the one i liked. and i bought him his xmas gift. though we agreed not to get anything for each other, i figure my man needs a good XXX. the current one is in a horrific condition and i wanted him to have a new one b4 the old one gives way. was deciding very long bet the one i bought and the one on promotion. decided to pay slightly more for something newer and better. sometimes, u can't be too stingy wif frenz and loved ones. so i shall stop complaining about all these unexpected expenses. well, i mean nice ppl do deserve nice stuff rite?

haven't been to the gym for 2 weeks. and i am sooo not guilty. why? coz i'm contented being fat, flabby, untoned and ugly. =(

HORRID DAY!!

first, i wore this realy ugly skrit to work. made my hips looks wide and me fat. then, we got scolded by this nasty client female client. stormed into our room and started scolding us for no apparent reason. gawk..why can't some ppl understand that we auditors are humans too? and we r not at ur mercy!! rite..mayb we are..so sad! =(
i'm secretly wishing that she remains a spinster for the rest of her life!! or if she's married...well..i hope someone will give u a real darn nasty scolding too!!

sigh..why muz ppl inflict misery on others? does that make themselves feel better? maybe the feeling of scolding others and knowing that they can't rebutt u is good..but i jzu can't understand..it's precisely becoz of scums like them that ppl this world a a terrible place!

went back feeling really sucky. and it didn't help that dinner was terrible. was looking to something much more nicer. not that i'm complaining about my mum's cooking..but sometimes, after a day of hard and in this case, nasty day at work, u look forward to a really nice and delicious dinner..to end off ur day. haiz...

well, my horrible day continue to be a horrible nite...until i saw...

haha...not i looked great in the photo, but it juz made my day! rather..made it a slightly better one..i realised i looked like shit while he looks so cool running...


i sooo need to cut my hair!

finisher!!!

yeah..i'm a proud finisher, but only for 10km. hehe..but it's an achievement coz i have never ran so far b4. the results are out and i'm ranked 976th among all the females in my division wif 1459 females behind me. hehe..at least i squeezed into top 1000. hahah. clocked a timing of 1 hr 14 mins 33 secs. not bad..avg speed of 8km per hour. that's similar to my training speed in the gym. hmm..my gym workouts did pay off.

anyway, about the run...the last 2 km almost took my breathe away. esp when i saw so many ppl started walking, felt like giving out. fortunately, bumped into some hall frenz who were marshalling along the route. their encouragement helped to push forward...i'm so glad i didn't give up and walk. if not, i would have feel really shitty about myself.

bought a new pair of track shoes from new balance coz the old pair gave way. became a duck towards the end..had to rip it off...

oh oh..and i got one really cool place to recommend for dinner!! it's al dente at esplanade!! really nice ambience and extremely romantic. esp the al fresco on the 2nd level. perfect place for dating..haha..gonna bing wk there next time. i'm ditching menotti for al dente. al fornmo 2nd!!
