across the causeway..

by midnitght, i was dead tired. think i sort of had too much fun over the weekend. played overnite mahjong at ass's place then went on a mini jb trip wif jean, yy and her beloved. haha..

we did grocery shopping..well, more of they did. i didn't buy much. mayb next time i should ask my mama for her shopping list. heh..and we found dokin donuts at pelagi plaze! jean was estatic as u could no longer find that in singapore. next, we went to this super huge megamart called EXTRA. wat a name. perhaps it meant extra huge? or extra cheap? most of the stuff were cheaper than the cold storage at pelagi.

finally, dinner at taman sri perabu. not sure if i got the name in malay correct. the 4 of choked up a bill worth 120!! ringgit la.not sing..=P according to yy and ari, me and jean can really eat. they definitely order more as compared to those times they came wif his guy friends. opps. and when he asked were we full, i said 'NO." he was shocked. so we ordered another plate of sotong fried wif smelly beans. b4 this, we ate crayfish, stingray, kangkong, prawns, sotongs, smelly beans, chay kway teow and 2 plates of chee cheong fen.

but the highlight of the nite gotta be the ramly burgers patty. we bought 6 packets of 10 patties each from EXTRA for our own consumption plus having a little bbq party at jean's place. but they were confiscated by the customs!! we're not allowed to bring any type of meat into singapore. to prevent the outbreak of any type of virus. arrghhh...we lost about 20 sing dollars.sighz..but it was truly an memorable incident.

now, time to burn away all those calories. heheh...weather looks good..and i'm finally going for my swim!! yeah..

a great holiday coming my way!!

good things seem to be happening one after another. first it was my results. and today i received more classes to teach!! yeah!! after calculating my supoosed pay, it will be enough to cover my expenses for jakarta!! ahaha..great! no need to take money from my parents =)

but i have to scrimp and save for these few weeks until my trip. cannot overspend and have to curb my shopping itch! met up wif yiyuan and her bf ari last nite. had a great dinner at parkway thai and we went shopping. tried up this pair of heels at hugo boss. nice! but juz too expensive. after 40% discount, still cost around 300+. =0

alright, have to go meet slutty and Da-vid they all for supper and mahjong!! hopefully, more good news!!

i'm a GRADUATE!!

yeah!!! i got my 2nd lower!! haha..so happy!

lucky me...got D for my 306. my first D in my 3 years. damn close. and i got B for my advanced tax! unbelievable! so glad that i decided to go for the paper..haha. and A for FYP!! well done von and del!!

alright, mayb i should't brag about my grades since 2nd lower is no big deal to many esp if they r getting 1st class or 2nd upper. but wat the heck! i achieved my personal target of a 2nd class honours! i knew upper is definitely out of my league since my grades r really mediocre. on cloud 9 now!! happy for many of my frenz too..for doing well. =)

euphoria!!

haha..guess i'm a little late in this post, but wat the hell!

we are the kings of Europe!!!

before half time when we were 2 goals down,

lio: gone
me: still got chance

when crespo scored the 3rd one, i was speechless. yep. i doubted for a while that liverpool could make it. but as i told lio, if milan could score 3 goals in 1 half, why can't we? and i'm thankful that my faith in the team had paid off! 2nd half was a totally different game! when gerrard scored the first goal, "hope!!" as i smsed lio.

later came smincer's and it was totally amazing!! and there was the penalty! UNBELIEVABLE!! i was hugging my cushion really tight. gosh, can't believe wat i have seen. liverpool did not fail us!

and came the extra time. that wonderful save or rather double saves from dudek! u're the dude!! bravo!

even when we reached penalty shootouts, some were saying that liverpool would lose coz dida is such an excellent keeper compared to dudek's butter fingers. actually even if they had lost the penalty shootouts, i will still be very proud of the way the lads played during 2nd half. they were really giving milan a run for the trophy. c'mon, how many teams could spring back alive after a 3 goals slaughter? the toffees couldn't for sure..haha

but i still believed we could be champions! the penalty shootouts were definitely a treat. i was like..how can serginho missed the shoot?? the milan players were supposed to be really good.. and when dudek displayed that final save on shevenko,
HURRAY!! POPS CHAMPAGNE!!! WE R THE WINNERS!!!

and another good news. i finally gotten my plane tix to jakarta!! so excited. to mnay ppl, indonesia is so not the place for a grad trip. but it doesn't bother me. i'm juz so glad that i'm able to go somewhere wif a bunch for great frenz! shaogal and swaxtch, can't wait for 16th june!! muahahaha

and another good news, von juz told me we got A for our FYP!!! yeah!!!

alright, hope i have more good news.

nothing much..

weirdly, afetr shifting back home, the amount of time spent in front of the com is lesser. my bro would hog onto the com for 4-5 hours playing gunbound and after that, it will be my sis's turn to use the com. and my turn? it comes after midnite. of course, i can chase them off the com. but decided to be a nice sista since i dun need to use the com urgently. alternatively, i can use the com in the morning or early afternoon. but i would be busy sleeping or watching tv. dun even feel like blogging nowadays, perhaps it's becoz there's nothing much to blog about. see, this is how boring my life is.

well, at least i went out today. rushed out the house at 4.15pm hoping to reach the immigration centre by 5. phew! reached there at 4.57pm. lucky me. haha..it only takes like 15 mins to update my passport photo. damn fast. went down to parkway to look for tat red adidas singlet for dearie. hard luck. found it but they only have xl left. need to get him a birthday present. a belated one. i have been a bad girlfriend. it's almost 1 month late. got him an 'appetitizer' present. something from ck. too embarrassed to mention here but jean would know. hahaha..wanted to chip in for his m frame or new watch but think he's not getting them anymore. so i'm stuck. wif nothing in mind to get for him. actually i do..but they are not special gifts. meaning no surprise. think again, i've been giving him surprises all the time coz i kept getting him the wrong presents! see..bad gf again =(

wanted to get him a coffee maker since he likes to drink coffee so much. decided against it coz i want him to drink less of it. bad for health plus jean told me it prevents height growth. heh
thought of a hp cover since his is spoilt but there were no nice ones. saw a few nice caps but the cutting seems weird and they dun that well on my head. so it shouldn't be on his too. finally got him this white adidas singlet. saw this adidas fitting top that resembles a racing top but it turns out to be a tennis top. if not i would have gotten it. looks kinda cool and his kind. white in colour wif orange stripes. shall pass him his prezzie when we meet for dinner tom nite. not that fantantic a gift but as the old saying goes, 'it's the thought that counts'

home sweet home

shifted back to hall last fri and finally unpacked all my stuff. also managed get the internet set up. so now everything is kinda falling into place...which means that i need to start looking for a temp job so i can spend my own money when me n nz go over to visit hanny. sighz..had a few job lobangs here and there. job agency called me a few times but still no news. mayb i should juz slack for this 1.5months b4 i start work in the real world.

went for this body scrub cum steam bath cum full body massage yesteday. courtesy of dearie's bday voucher from posb and i only needed to pay $30 for the whole package!
ahhaha..cheap bargain eh? but i didn't really enjoy it..mayb becoz it's my first time so it was kinda awakward. haha..but it was indeed an experience. the steam bath was fun but could have been better if i'm inside there wif some frenz. like wat u normally watch on tv, bitching wif ur frenz in a wrap-around towel in the steam room..cool! but i'm definitely going for more spa treats again next time to pamper myself but prob not the same place..need to explore others to find one which really suit me.

dunno why, after the treatment, i kinda looked pale. at least that's wat the nurse at the clinic which i went for the pre-employment check-up said. so she decided to get some blood sample from my arm instead of my finger, fearing that i'll faint. but after poking the needle and maneouveuring in my arm for like 1 min, she claimed that she lost the vein and proceeded on to taking my blood from my finger instead! ouch!! it still hurts now! can't believe that an executive clinic had such an inexperienced nurse. but the good thing is...i realised that i lost weight!! from 49 to 46.5. amazing rite? me can't believe it too..but dearie claimed it's due to the steam bath. lost too much water. i shall weigh again tom. heh...meanwhile, i need to start exercising again. if not, no more nike real run :(

finally back in hall..

so here i am..back in hall for my last week of stay. the past few days at home was good..not exactly heanvenly..but not totally bad either. time was spent slacking in front of the tv, packing my stuff and getting rid of some old clothes and ornaments, and shifting my bed and cupboard into my sis's room. yup. bye bye to single room. after having the master bedroom all to myself for the past 10 years, i have since volunteer to give it up to my little bro so he no longer has to share a bedroom wif my sis. he's sec 2 this yr and i guess it's not very convenient for him to continue sharing a room wif her. he doesn't even have his own proper writing desk. hopefully in his new room and wif his new writing desk (well, not exactly new since i used it before), he can scale towards greater heights! just like his big sista!! heh heh

i had my braces on last thurs. it's wasn't exactly painful. but my teeth feels so weak that i hardly had strength to chew! but thankfully, as compared to my frenz who had numerous ulcers, i had none!! amazing rite? perhaps i have thick lips or big mouth. so when i talk, my lips do not brush against the brackets. the only thing i hate about the braces is no more good food!! it hurts to even chew! i gave up and resorted to using my tongue to soften the food instead and then swallow them. so tasteless. macdonald's fries tasted of oil and salt to me. sobz.. and i have to brush my teeth after i eat every time! boohoo...so troublesome. thus, i have stopped binging which is good in a way since it helps me to lose weight. haha..blessing in disguise huh? but i'm still sad..i could only eat bread while my siblings ate long john and kfc on sun! sobz sobz...it was totally tormenting!! *roarz*

but the best thing that ever happened after i had my braces on gotta be having dearie shred meat for me..this small little act of his was very sweet and loving. while i ate my duck porridge on thurs (ohh..did i mention that i took 1 hour to eat a bowl of porridge??), he was busy shredding the duck meat. and on fri when we met pk and kp for dinner at menotti, i drank all of our fave chicken and mushroom soup while he shredded the chicken cubes for me and ate only the mushroom so i can have more proteins. then i ate the salmon from the salmone while he ate the cold hard bread. and i gotta eat the entire scoop of the hazelnut gelato too! heh..that was the best food i've ever eaten ever since i had those metal put inside me. was even thinking of having ice cream for every meal..but..haha...
