finisher!!!

yeah..i'm a proud finisher, but only for 10km. hehe..but it's an achievement coz i have never ran so far b4. the results are out and i'm ranked 976th among all the females in my division wif 1459 females behind me. hehe..at least i squeezed into top 1000. hahah. clocked a timing of 1 hr 14 mins 33 secs. not bad..avg speed of 8km per hour. that's similar to my training speed in the gym. hmm..my gym workouts did pay off.

anyway, about the run...the last 2 km almost took my breathe away. esp when i saw so many ppl started walking, felt like giving out. fortunately, bumped into some hall frenz who were marshalling along the route. their encouragement helped to push forward...i'm so glad i didn't give up and walk. if not, i would have feel really shitty about myself.

bought a new pair of track shoes from new balance coz the old pair gave way. became a duck towards the end..had to rip it off...

oh oh..and i got one really cool place to recommend for dinner!! it's al dente at esplanade!! really nice ambience and extremely romantic. esp the al fresco on the 2nd level. perfect place for dating..haha..gonna bing wk there next time. i'm ditching menotti for al dente. al fornmo 2nd!!
