it has been great!!

greetings from indonesia!! woohoo~~~ hahaha..have been deprived from the use of internet for a few days. currently now in hanny's office, using her com while waiting for her to finish her jap class. then we'll be going for dinner.

basically, things are really cheap here. almost everything is half the price of singapore's! thus, urs truly here have been spending and spending. i'm offically broke now. as in penniless. there's no more $$ in my bank coz i withdrew all of them and brought them over to spend. kp, i need my pay!! haha..

when we reached jakarta on thurs, the first place that hanny brought us to is '2 mangoes'. it's a shoppers' paradise but it's unlike the malls, tus, the place is kinda old. but who cares, things are super duper cheap here!! i bought 4 pairs of pants and 2 working blouse for only S$112!!. haha..i feel like a queen here.

if u think that things r cheap in jakarta, wait till u go to bandung. we watched mr and mrs smith for only 3 bucks! let's see, when was the last time movie cost that amount in singapore?? the cafes over at bandung are romantic and full of ambience. their cafes are equivalent to our high class restaurant here. think fullerton and triple 3. even menotti can't be compared to them. and there are lotsa factory outlets in bandung which sell authentic branded goods! they have brands like abercrombie, mango, banana republic etc. they are actually factory rejects probably wif the wrong size attached. but if u search hard enough, u can get a real good bargain.
